Clear Channel Outdoor adds Amber Alerts in El Paso, Albuquerque

The San Antonio Business Journal reports that billboard company Clear Channel is working with AMBER Alert coordinators in El Paso, TX and Albuquerque, NM to provide digital Alert messages in high traffic areas for both cities.

Clear Channel has partnered with the El Paso Police Department and the Albuquerque emergency broadcast network in separate arrangements to provide textual and digital photograph information on active Alerts.

Clear Channel has similar policies in place in Akron, Chicago, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Tampa.
